Fredericia, Denmark

I just had to go to Fredericia in Denmark because its practically my middle name (Frederica)!

I drove over the famous Oresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden, which is great except if its windy!

Fredericia is a small town, and there is only one Vegan friendly place called Cafe Mair’s. They do an amazing vegan starter with different sauces, really tasty vegan bean burgers with sweet potato chips, and then tahini cookies-they did not have vegan desserts.

Most of the other restaurants in Fredericia didn’t have vegetarian options, let alone vegan options, so we only went to Cafe Mair’s and then the rest of the time we went to the supermarket. There we could buy dark rye bread (Denmark is great for this), fruits, hummus, peanut butter, vegetables, dark chocolate. This for me is perfect for dinner because peanut butter makes everything glorious!
